One #HartnellDown, one goal scored, and one fight accomplished by the same player, ALL happening within a 10-second span.

This tilt ended in a scoreless, yet hard fought 3rd period with previous Flyers goals by Scotty Hartnell, Max Talbot, Claude Giroux and Brayden Schenn (GWG).
It was Philadelphia's first win since their victory against the visiting Nashville Predators on February 2nd. Since then the Orange & Black lost three straight and failed to keep their performances balanced from both ends of their ice.
Last night our boys brought the finishing touch against a desperate Toronto Maple Leafs squad. 
With a 'W' finally in the win column, the Flyers secure their 4th seed position in the East, 3-points ahead of the red hot New Jersey Devils. But because of Ottawa's supremacy over Nashville and Toronto's loss against our Bullies, last night the Leafs slipped deplorably into the last spot of contention in our Conference.
Despite the low slot efforts from Joffrey Lupul and Tyler Bozak's 2-goal evening, the Canadian Foliage dropped their second contest in a row and only lead the Washington Capitals by a single point in the standings.
But enough about Toronto.
This win was an important one for the Flyers. It was not only their chance to snap a slump, but it was exactly the confidence booster they needed heading into Saturday when we host the New York Rangers. As you know, we're 0 - 4 - 0 against our Atlantic Division rival this season and haven't beaten them on the scoreboard since February 20th, 2011.
Though I give Brayden Schenn tons of credit for potting our game winning puck and Scott Hartnell for his Gordie Howe Hat Trick, I believe Claude Giroux's panty-soaking snipe was the most important lamp lit of all four last night.
Again, we face the Blue Shirts tomorrow afternoon. We'll need our best talent firing on all cylinders from the puck drop till the final second clicks off the board.
Claude's 21st goal of the season may spark his confidence and carry into Saturday's contest --
It was as if it was effortless. Like Bob Ross pushing his paint brush over the canvass and then there being a magnificent looking mountain top with snow and happy little goats.
It leads you to believe that you, too, could accomplish such a simple feat. Giroux really is an artist. He turns hockey into poetry. I swear to God you could take Claude's best highlights and turn them into a 5-minute, slow motion video with Canon in D Major as its musical track.
Enough to bring a tear to a Flyers fan's eye.
The Bob filled in for a flu stricken Ilya Bryzgalov.
Sergei shut the gates on 24 of Toronto's 27-shots, and ended the evening with a .889 SV%. That percentage almost doesn't seem fair considering the Little Russian Wolverine kept the Leafs from tying the game deep in the final period --
Another flash of brilliance from our 23yr old backup. That would have been Tyler Bozak's Hat Trick goal had it not been for the lightning reflex of Bobrovsky.
Though Toronto pulled James Riemer from their pipes in the 3rd, Philadelphia failed to hammer the nail in the coffin with an empty netter. Nevertheless, the buzzer sounded and the Flyers grabbed a hold of a 31 - 16 - 7 season record.
