Consol Energy Center = Wells Fargo Center West, Fly Guys Over the Pens 4 - 2

It was glorious. It was amazing. It was a moment of happy tears for Flyers nation worldwide. And the best part? This was all happening against Pittsburgh. It was like all the planets aligned with the sun and a beautiful orange portal formed over the Consol Energy Center, emptying happiness, epicness, and rhythmical joy from its heavenly aura.

Boo Birds in the 'Burgh, Fly Guys Battle the Pens Tonight

So the last thing this team needs to be concerned with is a group of rowdy, fly-by-night fans behind the game glass flipping our winger the middle finger. Focus on the basics. Perfect them. Test Marc-Andre Fleury each chance you get. Enough of the flashy passing. When a hole opens up, put the puck on net. Then, attack the crease looking for the garbage.

Bryzgalov Gets Sickled & Hammered, Fall to the Bolts 5 - 1

Philly's lost back-to-back games in regulation. That's the first time it's happened all season long. That is a feat to be proud of, actually. But let's not accomplish another seasonal rarity with a third consecutive regulation loss, eh?

Giroux Proves He's a God, Stars Die Out Under the Flyers, & NHL Refs Wussify the Game

Many believed this could possibly prove to be a negative thing, and our star player was rushing back. A goal and three assists later......the naysayers were shut up.

Is He? Or Isn't He? Flyers Try Not to Get "Stars" Struck with Possible Return of #28

I’m excited for the return of Claude Giroux. Hell, we all are.  Let’s look forward to a great game.  And then, as if your night couldn’t get any better, don’t forget to tune into HBO to see the second installment of their critically acclaimed series “24/7 Road to the NHL Winter Classic”.  It should be another interesting segment.  I hope we find out what Eric Cole was saying to Matt Read, and that Bruins game might have a few “F” bombs thrown in.  See you on the flipside.

The SO Continues To Be the Flyers' Achilles Heel

When the final seconds of an overtime period melt away, a heavy feeling of faithlessness consumes me like a steady fog rolling over the Golden Gate Bridge. I cannot help it. The shootout is soon to follow and our Orange & Black aren't exactly the picturesque skater-on-goalie conquerors.

Want Pronger to Retire? Think Again

Alright, as of today (December 19, 2011) the Flyers have a total of $1,379,159 in LTIR Room. That number is not extra money the Flyers have to simply play around with. That is just what the league has allowed them to go over the $64.3-Million cap ceiling with players like Pronger, Betts, Laperriere and Gustafsson listed as bona-fide long-term injured players.

Giroux Ordered the Chicken, or......Chicken; Travels Out West with Flyers

In a post-practice interview, Giroux said that, "Everyday's getting better." Most of the time it's how you feel in the mornings when you wake up that give you an idea of how well you're progressing. The last two, three days he's been symptom-free. He wanted to get back out on to the ice, get in his "routine", and if he continues to feel this good then he'll get back to working out and hopefully back on the active roster.
