Jagr's Back From His Groin Injury, Is He Rushin'? (no he's Czech, ha!)

Our boys are going to need a player like Jagr come playoff time, and even sooner than that. But returning to the lineup tonight versus the visiting Winnipeg Jets has only brought in a fog of worry, rather than a beacon of joy.

Giroux Wins an Award at the PSWA Dinner, Wait What?

It's great to see Giroux getting all of this recognition in our city. Before this season began, even the ex-Eagle Donovan McNabb was a wider known name in Philadelphia than Claude Giroux.

First It Was Ryan Suter, Now Consider Tim Gleason (D) Off the Market

Up until this point it was widely speculated that our Flyers were interested in acquiring Gleason via trade as a Plan B had their initial interest, Ryan Suter (D) - NSH, gone off the market.

Coming Out Of A Break; Flyers Look to Keep Their Past Behind Their Future

Between tomorrow and February 18th, our Flyers battle against the Rangers twice -- once away, once at in the Well. As you already know, our record against them this season stands at 0 - 3. Facing them twice in a stretch of 10-contests is worrisome.

Sean Avery Sends a Facebook Event Invitation

This source was hanging out at Sean's apartment in Connecticut earlier today and happened to come across his Facebook on his computer. While the former Blue Shirt wasn't looking, my source quickly took a screen capture of an Event page he opened up from Avery's account and emailed me the photo.

Our Speed Demon Little Rooska Wins It In A Flyers Shootout, 3 - 2

Bobrovsky stopped all three of the Panthers attempts while Claude Giroux was the only orange soldier to lay the law behind Florida's netminder. Oh, and what a gorgeous goal it was. The Ginger Gingering Giroux left Florida's Scott Clemmensen picking up all his pads off the ice after deking him left and pushing the rubber past his far side.

Tim Thomas: "Give Me Liberty, or Give Me Sudden Death!"

To many such as myself, I firmly believe a man like Tim Thomas was born with the right to make the decision he did, and I'm also fully capable of separating it completely from his job in an ice hockey net.
