Jussi Rynnas got his first NHL start last night, but unlike most goalies, Jussi will want to forget about this one. The 24yr old Toronto netminder allowed 7-goals against his twine completing his evening with an abysmal .767 save-percentage.

Seriously, I'm a Flyers fan and even I'm beginning to kinda feel bad for Maple Leafs fans. Strictly speaking as a purist fan who appreciates the historical leverage of our beloved National Hockey League, Toronto's like the mecca of the sport. Them, and Montreal.

For most of his tenure as a Philadelphia Flyer, I have bashed Matt Carle's name through the earth's crust. He barely hits, his turnovers have been plentiful and costly, and he's absolutely nothing without Chris Pronger as a linemate. Or is he?

An MRI revealed that a smaller bone in Ilya's right foot had been torn away from the larger bone, and is floating around on an end of ligament like some kind of inflatable air dancer.

The passing was excessive and unneeded at such high quantity. Roloson virtually went uncontested with one of his teammates in the sin bin. When you try to get too cute with your passes, turnovers happen and lead to breakaway, shorthanded goals like this one.

Between today and April 7th, we face the Rangers once and the Penguins two more times. Ilya Bryzgalov is playing exactly how we anticipated before the season began, and hopefully the surge in goals from Saturday carries into tonight's game and throughout the remaining stances.

There is NO player that comes without his weaknesses, though. Make no mistake, this article is not written to discredit Claude Giroux in any way, shape or form. But provided the current circumstances, I think the first step in bulking up the number of split-wickets comes with Giroux overtaking his largest imperfection.

Giroux took a stretcher from Jaromir Jagr and gracefully danced past the defense. Graceful
is not a term I would use to describe how *All-Star* defenseman Dennis Wideman looked on the play. YIKES. Nevertheless, Giroux made not one, but two, ri-DEKE-ulous moves to bury the chance in a wide open net.

This loss is nothing to worry about. The Panthers needed the points more than Philly, and the Flyers are coming off a string of successful, emotional outcomes. There's still a lot of momentum carrying us into Thursday's tilt with the Washington Capitals.
