Earlier today a video of Franny Drummond showing us the making of Ilya Bryzgalov's Winter Classic mask quickly hit the interwebs --
Drummond Customer Airbrush, Inc. houses some of the most talented artists to ever throw custom paint jobs on a netminder's face cage.
CrossingBroad.com reports that Bryz told Franny to incorporate the Phillies, Sixers, Eagles and Flyers on the mask, and do so by adding Franny's own twist. Drummond slapped on Reggie White, Mike Schmidt, Julius Erving and the Phillies Phanatic.
The "HK" patch honoring the Phillies great Harry Kalas is one classy, phenomenal touch. Veteran's Stadium does not go unnoticed, either. What to name this beast?
Overall, this is one kickass mask. It will be completed by this Friday, and Crossing Broad will have the finished exclusive pics posted then. Of course, we'll share the link from our Facebook's fanpage.
