And Lundqvist finally has his goal-support he's been missing for the better part of his tenure. Instead of keeping them relevant, Lundqvist is now the keystone that keeps an offensive and defensive effort together as they journey to the second half of the schedule as the league leaders.

This year, Eric will be skating in the middle of Citizens Bank Park with some of the Flyers greats of past, and rightfully so. I hope he gets the biggest ovation of any player on either day. Hopefully next time I'm in Toronto I get to see the bust of Eric amongst the greats in NHL history in the Hockey Hall of Fame.

The hockey sweaters to the left have been indicated by Philly Sports Daily to be the actual Flyers Winter Classic swag. 

The reason for the alternate captain's 'A' on Giroux's jersey was because this image appeared before Pronger was named Captain, and Timonen and Briere named his minions (also per PSD).
