Jagr's Gotta Pain in the Cowbells, Groin

One thing each and every male on this planet can relate to is an injury to his "yogurt factory." We've seen videos on the internet hilariously showing a man taking a shot to the chones from his child's swung wiffle ball bat. But it's not always fun and games.

I Got Ya Soft Right Here, Phoenix! -- Bryz & His New Mates Top the Desert Pups

All in all it was a solid effort for the orange and black squad. This team is scary good when they are firing on all cylinders.  If people weren’t before, they definitely are standing up and taking notice now of the young guns from south Philly.

Gustafsson Underwent Wrist Surgery, Out Six Weeks

Hopefully Gus is one to bounce back from rehab 100%, and quicker than expected. His hockey smarts were promised, expected and delivered in his five game window, but it was his surprising physical play that added the cherry on top of my mountain of excitement for the young defender.

Desert Poodles in Philly Tonight, Bryz Faces Former Squad

A lot of talk about the Coyotes knowing Ilyas weaknesses and will exploit them tonight. I think it comes down to coaching, controlling his rebounds and clearing the front of his crease more than anything tonight. No more BLIND PASSES across ice as well! (Looking at you JVR)

"Yagaroo" Line Plows Through the Sugar 'Canes, 5 - 3

Heading into Monday night, our orange and black brigade never fancied a promising reputation with back-to-back contests. More often than not, the Flyers would split these games between the win and loss departments, but because of the wizardry fusing Claude Giroux and Jaromir Jagr together on the scoreboard, and Matt Read dusting the rough off his diamond exterior, the Bullies tallied another 'W' to their record and secured their position atop the Eastern Conference against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Zac Rinaldo's Reputation Costs Him BS Penalties & Non-Calls

Instead of changing his game, Rinaldo ought to invest his time in perfecting it. Don't give the referees a chance to consider the margin of THEIR error. Leave nothing up for questioning except how many birds the opposing player's watching circle his head after the hit.

A Look at "TrapGate" From an Official's Eye

The rules in most sports were created because someone found a loop-hole in a rulebook. Few were better at finding those than the late Roger Neilson. Neilson is personally responsible for several rules we take for granted, such as teams being required to use a goaltender to defend a penalty shot instead of a skater.

The 'Tampa-T' Wins It In OT, 2 - 1

Heading into last night's game, head coach Peter Laviolette strutted into the St. Pete Times Forum pushing a wheelbarrow carrying his oversized testicles in front of him. Our bench boss had more up his sleeve than the rest of the watching hockey nation anticipated

Coburn's Pay Raise Puts Carle's Future Under the Microscope

We know what we're getting with Coburn. He's an effective defenseman and a big body. Carle is an offensive-sound blue liner, but his offense will just have to be made up by our forwards. Right now this team needs all the defensive assurance they can sign up.

Jinxes, Shminxes; "SHUTOUT!"

Can we stop with the "WOAH, YOU JINXED THE SHUTOUT ARRGH!!

" nonsense? I've heard it for years -- You cannot jinx or even say the word "Shutout" when the goalie (You are rooting for) is pitching "The S word". My question, why?
